Cacatoès devient mécène de Pure Ocean pour soutenir la protection et la régénération de l’océan

Cacatoès becomes a patron of Pure Ocean to support the protection and regeneration of the ocean

Cacatoès becomes a patron of Pure Ocean

Cacatoès is now a patron of Pure Ocean, an endowment fund recognized for its support of innovative scientific projects dedicated to the preservation, protection, and regeneration of the ocean.
This commitment marks a significant step for our brand, determined to take concrete action for the environment.

A first concrete commitment: an internal waste collection

To initiate this partnership, our team organized a waste collection at our premises.
In just 30 minutes, we collected 600 liters of waste, equivalent to 2.5 kg per person.

This action allowed us to become aware of the quantity of plastic waste that is part of our daily lives. An essential reminder when we know that 250 kg of waste is dumped into the ocean every second, equivalent to a dump truck per minute.

Regen Ocean Farms: a project supported by Cacatoès via Pure Ocean

Thanks to this patronage, Cacatoès contributes to the advancement of high-impact projects, such as Regen Ocean Farms, one of the most ambitious programs supported by Pure Ocean.

This project aims to:

  • structure an artisanal algaculture sector in Brazil;

  • regenerate marine ecosystems;

  • support coastal economic activity;

  • encourage sustainable management of marine resources.

The Ocean Night: an inspiring event

Cacatoès was also invited to participate in La Nuit de l’Océan (The Ocean Night), the annual event organized by Pure Ocean.
There, we discovered the documentary Flor do Mar, produced by ZEKE FILM, dedicated to the winning project Regen Ocean Farms.

This film highlights the revitalization of traditional Brazilian algaculture, made possible through modern biotechnological processes and the involvement of local communities.

A project resonating with Cacatoès' history

The documentary Flor do Mar was filmed in Brazil, a country that holds a central place in Cacatoès' history and universe.
Discovering such a large-scale ocean project developing there further reinforces the meaning of our commitment alongside Pure Ocean.

A lasting commitment to the future of the ocean

This partnership between Cacatoès and Pure Ocean is part of a sustainable approach:
supporting high-impact projects, encouraging environmental protection, and taking concrete and continuous action at our level.

At Cacatoès, we are convinced that every small action counts.
By working alongside Pure Ocean, we aim to contribute to a global movement for the preservation of oceans and marine biodiversity.
